About the Role
Vogt Warehouse is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team. This role is responsible for handling incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining inventory, and ensuring an efficient and organized warehouse environment. Responsibilities:
-Load and unload trucks, railcars, and containers safely and efficiently.
-Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment accurately.
-Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (training provided if needed).
-Conducted inventory counts and maintained accurate stock records.
-Keep warehouse areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
-Assist in transloading and freight movement as required.
-Work with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
Qualifications:
-Previous warehouse, logistics, or shipping/receiving experience preferred.
-Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain).
-Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
-Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
-Basic math and computer skills for inventory tracking.
-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

Requirements
Physical Stamina – Ability to lift heavy objects, stand for long periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
Attention to Detail – Ensuring accurate order picking, packing, and inventory management.
Basic Math & Computer Skills – Ability to count inventory and use warehouse management systems (WMS).
Forklift Certification (Preferred) – Some roles require experience operating forklifts and other equipment.
Teamwork & Communication – Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Organizational Skills – Keeping workspaces clean, organized, and safe.
Flexibility & Adaptability – Willingness to work different shifts, overtime, or in various warehouse areas.
Knowledge of Safety Procedures – Understanding proper lifting techniques and hazard prevention.
